Accredited Practicing Dietitian

Lisa studied both Nutrition & Dietetics and Sport Science at the University of Sydney. She has extensive knowledge in nutrition specific to diabetes, including insulin pumps, insulin therapy, sports diabetes, and diabetes during pregnancy. Lisa has a practical and easy to understand approach to weight management and lifestyle modification in prediabetes and Type 2 diabetes.

Astrid Tattersall

Astrid Tattersall

RN, BSc (Hons), CDE

Credentialed Diabetes Educator

Astrid studied nursing in London before completing a science degree at Surrey University. After working in various acute medical settings and oncology, she completed a post graduate certificate at UTS Sydney to become a Credentialed Diabetes Educator. She provides education and support for insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring, and individual/group sessions for Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes.

Tara Griffin

Clinical Psychologist

Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 14, Tara has firsthand experience with diabetes management. She holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology and has extensive experience in health behaviour, including her Masters thesis on effective interventions from diabetes educators' perspectives. Tara is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and specialises in motivational and behavioural support, disordered eating, and management of chronic disease.
