Meet Dr Sultan Linjawi
Endocrinologist & Diabetes Specialist
BSc MBBS MRCP(UK) FRACP
A calm, evidence-based guide for people who want to understand their diabetes β not just be told what to do.
Dr Sultan Linjawi is a consultant endocrinologist who has spent close to three decades helping people live well with diabetes β not just manage numbers on a page.
Over that time, he has worked with thousands of people with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, and prediabetes, supporting them through diagnosis, periods of uncertainty, and long-term care. He has also been involved in clinical trials for many of the diabetes medications now used routinely around the world.
What patients often value most is not only his medical training, but his ability to explain what is happening in the body in a way that feels clear, grounded, and practical β especially when diabetes has started to feel confusing or overwhelming.
Dr Linjawi trained at Imperial College London, completed physician training in the United Kingdom, and specialist endocrinology training in Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges in both countries, and his published research can be viewed on Google Scholar.
How Dr Linjawi Approaches Diabetes Care
Rather than focusing on a single number or short-term fixes, Dr Linjawi helps people understand how blood sugars, food, medication, habits, stress, and long-term risk all fit together.
The emphasis is on clarity over fear, structure over guesswork, and steady progress over extremes β so decisions feel calm and deliberate rather than reactive.
"My goal is to help you understand what's happening in your body and give you the tools to manage your diabetes effectively β so you can focus on living your life with confidence."
This masterclass reflects how Dr Linjawi explains diabetes to patients in clinic β with the time and space to explore the full picture.
